RELAXATION EXERCISE WITH WATER
When we are stressed we can make a practice of conscious imagination very beneficial. We sat in a comfortable, breathe deeply ten times to begin to relax the body and mind. Then just imagine walking is a place where there is plenty of water. For example we can imagine a crystal clear river with waterfalls and pools that leads to a translucent sea.
Then with the help of our imagination we conscious visual contact with the river, we see a crystal river, we see a waterfall where we are headed where we feel that the water is warm, the temperature is pleasant, it feels as water travels through our body gradually relaxing it, we feel the force of water will relax muscle by muscle. Feel when the water falls on our head and all our worries disappear, leaving our minds completely serene.
Then we get into the river in an oasis of calm and crystal clear water where we swam peacefully, we can see the bottom, fish, pebbles. Sorry when we swim as the water flows through the fingers.
We see that river leads to the sea where you can see a vast beach of white sand where the sun shines on every wave that comes ashore. We feel the soft, wet sand caresses us underfoot. To end the practice
imagine we open our arms against the sea and feel the breeze that is going cleaning of all tension, fear or concern that we have.
